London is famous for its impressive and spectacular Christmas lights displays: Regent Street, the windows of Selfridges, Covent Garden piazza.
Dotted around the streets of Soho however are a series of lights that quite possibly best them all…
Since 2021 the children at Soho Primary School have worked with an architect called Antonio Capelao to create light displays. Antonio is a design tutor at Cardiff University’s Welsh School of Architecture and the co-founder of Architecture for Kids CIC. Each year they add a selection of new ones, so 2025 saw the addition of six more.
They are just brilliant, with so many different and imaginative designs. I went on a wander around Soho, here are a selection of some that I saw.

I hope you enjoyed seeing those! There are, I believe, about 50-60 in total, so there are plenty more to see around the streets of Soho.
