Incredible photo of the blokes doing the gilding on the statue. Just a long ladder and no harness or anything. Walking around on her arms. And the ladder is too vertical even for ground level. It’s making my hands sweat just thinking about it!

Good god Jack, I just realised we were on the same tour of Old Bailey last month! I think I saw you after the tour was over when you tried to take some more photos in the great hall, because I was there taking photos as well when we were told by a staff member to come back to the entrance and leave! The green truck at the front door is also in one of my photos! What a happy coincidence!
