Does anyone know where to find any info or images about what paintings and art were on display inside the Old War Office in London, before it was converted to Raffles hotel?

In reply to tenderly775762c925. I am an American novelist, and one of my scenes takes place in room 055 in the basement, which was used by MI5 for interviews. If you have seen it can you tell me if it has a window, perhaps one that opens into the moat or a window well? Thanks.

I used to work in the Old War Office in the early 1980’s. Loved it and missed it enormously.

My Dad worked in the war office as a Computer Programmer Analyst in the 60’s before relocating to Wegberg where I was born as my Mum lived in Camden. I live in Burton upon Trent now
